Super Saturday for GOP Targets Eastern Baltimore County; November 1 is Get Out The Vote Saturday
From Friends of Kathy Szeliga:
Dundalk – In advance of the November 4 General Election, Baltimore County Republican Party Chairman, John Fiastro, Jr. today declared, November 1st, a Super Saturday in Dundalk and Essex. “Super Saturdays are one of our party’s best Get Out the Vote tools. Dundalk, Edgemere, and Essex are fertile ground for our gubernatorial candidate, Larry Hogan, and his team: Robin Grammer, Bob Long, and Ric Metzgar for the House of Delegates, John Salling for Senate and Todd Crandell for County Council. We will focus our last weekend reaching out to voters and making sure they get to the polls to support our Change Maryland Team.”
Delegate Kathy Szeliga, House Minority Whip (R-7-Perry Hall,) who will be in attendance on Super Saturday, added, “Our candidates for the House of Delegates, Grammer, Long and Metzgar share the beliefs of Eastern Baltimore County residents. They are committed to lowering taxes, bringing jobs to Maryland, and bringing fiscal responsibility back to Annapolis. This is the team that Larry Hogan will rely on in Annapolis.”
The Maryland Republican Party has developed the Super Saturday Program in recent years to activate voters to get them to the polls on Election day. GOP National Committeewoman Nicolee Ambrose has spearheaded the program’s development. Ambrose added, “Our program has a proven track record of success. We deployed our Super Saturday volunteers in the cities of Annapolis and Frederick last fall, and in doing so captured the Mayor’s office in both cities. It has a proven record and we look forward to bringing similar victories in Eastern Baltimore County.”
The Super Saturday will kick off with a rally and then volunteers will move out into the neighborhoods. Chairman Fiastro concluded, “The East side is ready for new leadership and we are looking to sweep each seat. We will fight down to the last minute to bring real change to Maryland, and that change starts on the East side of Baltimore County.”
The Eastern Baltimore County Super Saturday Rally will start at 10:30am, Saturday, November 1st, 2014, at the North Point Government Center, 1747 Merritt Blvd. Dundalk, MD 21222.

Del. James Releases New TV Spot
From Friends of Mary-Dulany James:
Dear Friends,
There are so many good things happening here in Harford County. If you’ve seen my newest TV spot, you know why. If you haven’t, click on the video below to learn what we have accomplished in Harford County since I’ve been in office.
We should be proud of what we’ve accomplished together: creating high tech private sector jobs with 3D printing, more opportunities in higher education, and civilian jobs at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.
A realist says
Sorry Mary – Dulany – James, Towson University isn’t in Harford County!! Just sayin…
Darlington Dawg says
You’re wrong! Towson was invited to build a building on the Harford Community College campus. The building is finished and they are already holding classes in it. This is a great opportunity for Harford students to get their bachelor’s degree from Towson without spending hours in traffic jams on I-95.
A realist says
Your absolutely right! I completely forgot about that. My apologies.
District F Resident says
Mr. Smith, Why did you not include the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund in your list of endorsements? They were in fact the first to endorse you. Don’t you think the LGTB community will be insulted by your distancing yourself from them?
PB says
Nobody really *cares* about the “LGTB community”. It’s tiny, and involves personal issues.
There, I said it.
Who Cares says
Those people will be Insulted? Gasp!!! Will the world end?
Who Cares says
How about the heterosexual victory fund? Gasp. Intolerance whoopie alarm, whoop whoop whoop.
Those “people” are definitely the “personal problem” people.
I really think those people want to be hated on to further their agenda. Their personal life matters nothing to me until they start making it a bulletin point in every discussion not related to their personal life.
