BEL AIR, Md., (Feb. 17, 2015) – For the convenience of our citizens, Harford County government is now accepting credit cards for in-person transactions at the Treasury Department counter located in the County Administration Building in Bel Air.
Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards are welcome at the Treasury counter located on the first floor at 220 S. Main St. for permits, water and sewer bills, parking tickets and other accounts receivable invoices. Previously assessed convenience fees have also been eliminated for some types of transactions over the phone or Internet. Credit cards are also being accepted from individual county residents at the Harford Waste Disposal Center for the disposal of solid waste and for bulk purchases of mulch and compost. The Harford Waste Disposal Center is located at 3241 Scarboro Rd. in Street, MD 21154.
