From the Aberdeen Police Department:
Aberdeen, MD – The two victims of an early morning shooting that occurred on April 7, 2015 have been identified as 56-year-old Linda Ota of Hackensack, N.J. and 55-year-old Thomas Peterson of Aberdeen, Md.
The incident occurred in the 300 block of Mt. Royal Ave, Aberdeen at approximately 4:50 a.m. When officers arrived they found a female and a male suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.
Ota was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma where she is still listed in critical condition. Peterson was pronounced dead around 7:00 a.m. at Bayview Medical Center. The two victims are brother and sister.
The Aberdeen Police Department is still investigating the incident but has determined that the siblings were involved in a domestic related argument that led up to the shooting.
