There are two events coming up this week. The National Day of Prayer has numerous events going on across our state and nation tomorrow, May 7th. If you are unable to attend an event, I hope you can find five minutes at noon tomorrow to pray for our nation. There will be millions praying tomorrow.

Finally, there is a 5K + family fun 1K being held on Saturday to bring awareness to human trafficking. Information follows.

Tomorrow marks the 64th annual National Day of Prayer. I will be participating in the event in Kingsville. In fact, I am honored to be giving the Key Note address.

Human Trafficking is happening right here in Maryland! Most people think this is a problem in some other country and certainly not right here in Baltimore.

Araminta was started In October of 2010 with a desire and goal to stop the trafficking of children in Baltimore and throughout Maryland. Freedom 4/24 was started to raise awareness of the sexual exploitation of human trafficking of women and children around the world and provide financial support to partner organizations dedicated to bringing freedom and doing justice.
Together, they are holding a 5K and Family Walk to raise awareness and money to fight Human Trafficking here in Maryland and abroad.
