Harford County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are currently seeking information from the public to assist in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing.
At approximately 7:30 pm, on June 4, 2015, deputies were called to the hospital for a report of a victim suffering a stab wound. Patrol deputies initiated an investigation that was later assumed by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Preliminary investigation into the incident leads detectives to believe that the victim, identified as Joseph Andrew Nelson, 24 of Baltimore, was walking on Grempler Way in Edgewood, when he was suddenly stabbed. The victim indicated that he ran from the area to Brookside Drive where he was picked up by friends and driven to Upper Chesapeake Hospital. At this time, limited information about the suspect is known. The victim was treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital later that night.
