From Del. Kathy Szeliga:
4th of July – Saturday!
Do you love a parade?
The Kingsville 4th of July Parade is one of the best parades in our area.
If you have kids or grandkids who would love to walk in a parade, this is your opportunity!!
Come One Come All!!
Kingsville Parade – 4th of July
Kingsville Volunteer Fire Dept.
10:40 AM ARRIVAL TIME
Parade begins at 10:45 AM – we should be near the beginning of the parade line-up
(RAIN INFO BELOW)
Once again this year, I am participating in the Kingsville 4th of July parade.
If you would like to walk in the parade with us – and bring your kids, grandkids, and dogs too – we need your help. We will have lots of candy to give out to the kids along the parade route.
The Kingsville Parade is a fun family-friendly event.
We will have Kathy Szeliga & Andy Harris t-shirts for anyone who needs one. Or, wear any patriotic shirt or red, white or blue.
It’s usually HOT! Dress for hot weather. We will have cold water.
10:45 AM – Be at the KVF (parade starts at 10:45, we will be in the beginning)
Kingsville Vol Fire: 11601 Bellvue Ave, Kingsville, MD 21087
Best entrance is Sparr Rd & Cedar Ln – Bradshaw Rd will be closed to traffic
Parking: It’s always tough. Allow plenty of time to walk to the parade from your car. The best place to park is near Cedar Lane and walk to the Fire Dept via SPARR DRIVE. (Sparr Drive brings you to the back of the Kingsville Vol Fire – where we will be lined up for the parade.) Just walk through and look for a pick-up truck with Harris/Szeliga signs. At the end of the parade (St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Jerusalem Rd), we will give you a ride back to your car.
Weather – Parade goes on rain or shine and is not rescheduled. Use your best judgement. IF IT’S RAINING – WE WILL NOT PARTICIPATE.
Check my Facebook page and emails – I will post something only if we are NOT participating.
If I do not see you on July 4th, I hope you and your family have a wonderful and patriotic day!
