If I am not mistaken, didn’t a similar incident take place in the past few years with ATV riders near an old quarry? So sad for those involved and their loved ones.
SoulCrusher says
I wonder what the toxicology report is going to say about all this…..
Khan says
What’s more telling is “What are 2 guys doing on ATV’s at near 0100 at night?” Not exactly the best time to be riding around in the woods. Obviously their judgment was not the best, and they paid the price for it.
Harford Resident says
DUI and paid the ultimate price. Some people will never learn.
Jack Haff says
What’s worse is how many people are out there every night DUI driving their automobiles? I’d venture to say A LOT.
Northern Harford County is full of them. While ruckus is attracting Police activity every night in Edgewood, all them ‘billies take to the road with one eye open since there are no cops around.
Proud Northern Harford Resident says
“all them ‘billies take to the road with one eye open since there are no cops around.” Why use this news report of a terrible accident with two deaths to attack local residents? The two men who were killed were not locals, they were from AA county. Speculating and publicly debating the cause of the accident is futile, when the FACTS are known we will read them. As someone stated obviously they did not use good judgment and have paid the price. What point is there to degrading the community?
Jack Haff says
To get the awareness out. That’s what PR is.
RTFU says
But is she lying?
Jennifer Nickey says
U don’t know if alcohol was involved I suggest that unless you know 100% what your talking about you should not say it, those 2 guys have famlies and friends and don’t need 2 be reading this, I’ve known Timmy Phillips for over 30 yrs, again watch what you say
Jennifer Nickey says
You shouldn’t say things you don’t know the facts about yet, those guys have family and friends I have known Timmy Phillips for over 30 yrs and I really don’t want to hear the negative comments
Jack Haff says
Most people on Planet Earth have family and friends.
Florida says
Would love to know exactly how it happened. One comment I saw said the two 4 wheelers hit head on. Does anyone know if there was alcohol was a factor? I assume it was fatal head wounds. Does anyone know that possibly saw the accident
Arturro Nasney says
Two 37 year old grown men from down south. Who cares if alcohol was involved. Sorry sweet cheeks, the gene pool has just had a small cleaning.
SoulCrusher says
Damn Aturro, that’s pretty hard…..
Kevin says
Aturro, You are a worthless peice of shit to be saying things like that about people you don’t know. Will Womble was one of the very nicest people I’ve ever met. I worked with him for almost 2 years. He has a family that is mourning his death right now. And his 2 kids that now have lost there father that. Think about if it was one of your family members you inconsiderate ass hat.
Jack Haff says
Pretty amusing no one else used profanity and personal insults but you, why is that?
Are you an E-TOUGH GUY? If you don’t like what you are reading, don’t read it.
Get hot and bothered and “tell me how it is.”
Why is it people come out of the woodwork when these incidents are posted? Again, the “family” doesn’t have to read it by simply not reading the comments, this isn’t your obituary guest book.
I laughed hard at the one incident where the goof was typing to the tune of “come to the funeral and say that” while suggestion of physical violence was going to incur. I highly doubt only the trashiest of people would get 1st and 2nd degree assault charges at a funeral.
Kevin says
Did I say I was going to hunt him down and hurt him? No. Did I bully him into a fight? No. Does it bother you that I used profanity on the internet? If so, then like you stated in your previous post. Don’t read it. Pretty simple. No I’m not a E tough guy. Had this been a discussion at a round table in person I would have said the exact same thing to there face. If I have something to say. I will in fact say it. If you don’t like it or have an issue with it. Go play in traffic. Have a nice day.
Kevin says
PUFF PETERS
Jack Haff says
It does bother me, and I did read it, I’m also not using my own advice
Profanity/personal insults is how you represent your dead buddy and his family?
Kevin says
If someone using profanity on the internet bothers you then you should probably not look on the internet anymore. It’s full of it bad words and things. I’m not representing my friend or his family. I’m representing myself and my opinion. Don’t like it, don’t read it. I will say what I want when I want. Not sure where your going with this conversation or what point your trying to prove here. But your not getting anywhere with it. Lol
Darwin says
I think Jack Haff is trying to say that you “spoke your mind” with profanity laced insults defending a Darwin award winner under the guise that family and friends see the comments, and your (low) class and vulgar language shows what type of person you really are.
Family Member says
Listen, William was my little brother. I can tell you that he was a good hearted, family loving, God fearing American. He worked hard to provide for his family. He sacrificed for his friends, and damn sure wouldn’t have said some comment like yours about someone he doesn’t know. what should’ve been cleansed was the test tube you were conceived in.
? says
Can we get a resounding confirmation from the many here who knew theses poor individuals that they were not into alcohol drugs or dangerous behavior?
And this was just some random act of God bestowed on 2 people driving ATV’s late at night.
Sweet says
Those soley concerned on the cause behind this accident need to take a step back and count there blessings. Accidents like these happen everyday, either way regardless of the cause, two people lost there lives and their families are in mourning, remember karma is. beautiful thing. Appreciate what you have, you never know how long it shakl remains yours…
Darwin says
My award or not?
Spiffy says
You all have it all wrong. These nearly 40 year old men must have been on neighborhood patrol, reporting illegal fireworks, and checking welfare of senior citizens on their ATV’s.
