From Harford Community College:
Harford Community College has announced that Stacy L. Rutherford will be the new general manager for the APGFCU Arena. Stacy, who specializes in public venue management, brings 12 years of organizational management, project development, business operations, office management, and sales experience to the College. She will begin her new position at Harford Community College on February 15.
Rutherford comes to HCC from Millersville University in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where she served as the assistant director of the Office of Visual & Performing Arts from July 2013 to January 2016 and Business Manager of the Ware Center from February 2012 to July 2013. Prior to her employment at Millersville, she worked at Main Street Mount Joy (Mount Joy, PA) as Downtown Manager, Mount Joy from 2005-2012. In addition, she was a project developer/coordinator at The Lancaster Alliance from 2002-2005.
Rutherford attended Pennsylvania State University in York, Pennsylvania from 1997 to 1999 and earned a B.A. in Geography from Millersville University in 2003. Her professional development includes the Millersville University Leadership MU Development Program (July 2012-March 2013), Association of Performing Arts Presenters Emerging Leadership Institute (January 2014), Association of Performing Arts Presenters Annual Conference (January 2014), Arts Reach Unlimited National Arts Marketing, Development & Ticketing Conference (March 2014), and National Arts Marketing Project Americans for the Arts (November 2015).
