From the Aberdeen Police Department:
On Monday, October 31, 2016, at approximately 9:30 PM, the Aberdeen Police Department responded to the 100 block of Rogers Street in reference to an altercation that occurred in the woods behind a structure formerly known as the Moose Lodge. Upon arrival responding officers located Jean Peterson, 30, alleging to have been assaulted.
Officers received a second call for a female suffering from stab wounds in the unit block of Howard Street. Once on the scene a female victim, 35, was located suffering from two stab wounds to her leg.
The stabbing victim was transported by Aberdeen Fire and EMS to Christiana Hospital, DE, with non-life threatening injuries. At the conclusion of the initial investigation Jean Peterson was determined to be responsible for stabbing the victim. Peterson was charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault and was transported for processing at the Harford County Detention Center.
This incident is still under investigation.
