From the Harford County Public Library:
The Maryland Commission for Women is holding a series of public forums across the state: Voices of Maryland Women. We are pleased to announce that a forum will be held on July 11, 2017, in partnership with the Harford County Commission for Women, in Abingdon, MD.
We want to hear from the women of Maryland, in their own words, about the needs and concerns they face in their everyday lives. We will develop a report with recommendations for improvements in programs, legislation and policies that impact the lives of Maryland women from the Western Panhandle to the Eastern Shore.
Maryland women across the region are invited to speak to the state Commission for Women and their county Commission for Women about the challenges they face, as women, and what would make their lives better.
