this is common in the food industry. sometimes they let a bowl of fruit on the counter and health dept will write them up. i don’t see any wrote up for filth or roach infestation. i guess thats a good thing. these are the things i look for in a restaurant and with a general clean appearance in restaurant and restrooms. A peak in their kitchen would be nice also..

I still like the way North Caolina does it. Each business gets a score between 0-100 based on their conditions. This score is required to be posted at the door. You would be surpirsed how quickly that number jumped once they had to post it. Most places have a 97-100. We did visit a national steak restuarant while on our last vacation and they had a 72%. We turned around and left.

The North Carolina system makes sense …. I don’t see the utility in the system Harford County uses. Virtually every place has the exact same deficiencies. It seems the health Department could put a bit more effort into what they’re doing….they could “phone in” what they’ve done here.

It sounds/reads like “The Hole” to still be serving food. Most of Bel Air’s business community ate there…never heard of any of them having such problems.
