It’s been a while since The Dagger has written anything on our Chew blog, and with the recent news of the release of local Zagat ratings, I figured it would be a good time to bring it back.
So what has happened since our last post on “The Chew”?
- – Our restaurant review site, Eats!, has disappeared. We switched servers a little while ago and now the site is just hanging in limbo. We are hoping to bring it back soon.
- – As I mentioned before, Zagat just released it’s local restaurant ratings. It’s a pretty small list. What are your thoughts on the ones that made it and the snubs? Let us know by leaving a comment.
- – The Harford Cupcake scene is heating up and starting to get noticed.
- – We continue to post each month’s food facility violations (here is June’s). Remember that most of the violations are not a big deal (unless it’s a pattern), but always keep an eye out for “Food workers must practice effective hand washing procedures”.. We’re looking at you, Chinese food buffets!
- – Finally, we are looking to grow our food and dining coverage. If you are interested in writing local restaurant reviews, sharing your local recipes, or even writing about your favorite food shows on TV, shoot me an email or use our contact form. I’d love to discuss ways we can grow The Chew.
well shit the bed. me and brother Guy used to send in reviews, good ones, whether or not the food and service was. if anyone out there ever read them and wants us to wreite some more let the dagger know
