That is a horrible story, I hope they catch the killer and prosecute him/her to the fullest extent of the law.

That is a horrible story, I hope they catch the owner of the pitbull and prosecute him/her to the fullest extent of the law. Thank goodness it was shot before it hurt someone.

Did this dog do something to deserve to be shot, Balloran?

Balloran, what a crappy thing to say. Not all pit bulls hurt people, and those that do most likely have irresponsible owners. I don’t blame the breed, and I certainly don’t believe any dog deserves to be shot because it MAY one day hurt someone. How ignorant.

Perhaps the dog was a nuisance, perhaps the dog was attacking someone. We should not jump to conclusions about this dog or its owner until we have the facts. We should not pass judgements based on media accounts.

I would think that if it were attacking a person, you would have heard screams or there would be a body besides that of a DOG!!

I know that if I saw a pit bull running around out side without a leash, and it came for me, I would not “scream” I would shoot it too.

Being a “NUISANCE” doesn’t justify killing an animal. Except where and when it is legal to do so for the greater good of the species i.e deer hunting, alligator hunting. What a MORON!

Wow, name calling how mature. Thanks again for showing us that there is no such thing as an open minded Liberal. You must resort to name calling when someone has a differing opinion then yours. Keep youre animals on a leash and in your yard. They wont get shot. Or send them over to MSRK’s house. He/She/It seems to be willing to board Nuisince animals. Glad my tad dollars are going to waste feeding another stray.

I agree that animals should be on a leash or in a yard, and at all time controlled by the owner. If that is not the case, however, that does not automatically mean the dog is a threat to anyone. If Kelly feels justified shooting a dog just because a dog is approaching her I am hoping two things: that she is not armed as a rule, and that she lives far far away from my neighborhood.
