    A caller from the 400 block of Callander Way complained Monday that the caller’s 13 year old son refused to go to school. You call the police for this? I would suggest this person be sterilized.

      Some parents make the mistake of threatening to call the police and when the child calls them on it, they follow through. And some parents freak out because they know they can face truancy charges if their kids don’t go to school (a lot, but they might not know this), so they think if they call the police they are going to be okay.

      When what they should do is just call the school guidance office.

      back pain after surgery can often be a sign of a heart attack, so calling 911 was the correct response.
