From the Harford County Office of Recycling:
(Street, MD) – – The Harford County Office of Recycling and the local Emergency Planning Committee offers residents the chance to safely dispose of their household hazardous waste products. It’s part of Residential Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.
Residents can dispose of oil-based paints, cleaning products, bleach, pool chemicals, herbicides, pesticides and mercury thermometers. You cannot dispose of explosives, ammunition, medical waste, radioactive materials and antifreeze.
The event is free and open to Harford County residents. The collection will be held at the Mulch and Compost Facility of the Harford Waste Disposal Center on Saturday, October 12 from 10am to 2pm. It is located at 3135 Scarboro Road in Street, Maryland. Proof of residency will be required.
