Given the amount of unoccupied office space already available in this county, I would hope the County would deny the request without a signed lease or at least an intent letter.
The government lacks the ability to deny for that reason. If they had that sort of power just imagine what business’s they could destroy.
If private investors want to build commercial space and make rents competitive that’s a good thing.
Pharmacies, ugly look a like builder homes, fast food restaurants and unused office space is what ol’harferd countee is all about.
Build, build, build, keep it coming, love it. I like to see the a$$hole of HC get it stuck up their butt.
What a sham. SHA eminent domain all those homes on route 22/Aberdeen to get a few more lanes road, just in time for everyone to be “BRAC’d” out of here.
I wonder what the plan for that Aberdeen Fore dept. Sub station is going to be? Its nearly as close to the road as all those homes that were eminent domain.
That’s right – get ready for the new APG Campus buildings to be emptied, and everyone sent to Huntsville. We’re hearing that more and more in work, and no plans to bring new folks in. A few billion bucks, down the drain when they shut the whole place down.
Rumor has it the station will be bulldozed.
Well, after three years the in the closet shame has finally been opened up for all to see.
Huh? There is finally a big “FOR LEASE” sign with a phone number on the nice, three story brick office building next to Target in Aberdeen.
There is nothing that is “nice” in Aberdump.
@ Big D: You know that firehouse isn’t gonna move!!! Love to see how they reroute traffic there!!! SHA just may put a roundabout in front of it. Lmao Henry, where you from?
