From Harford County government:
As the result of the impact of BRAC to Harford County and the greater Baltimore area, particularly with regard to the demand for housing and commercial development, Harford County Executive David R. Craig is establishing a Banking and Finance Commission to study the current banking regulatory environment as it pertains to residential and commercial development projects.
The Commission will be charged with making studying the current financial picture for Harford County and the Greater Baltimore Region and make recommendations on how to improve business access to capital markets.
The announcement of the establishment of the Banking and Finance Commission will take place Tuesday, November 16 at 11 a.m. in the Harford County Government Administration Building in Bel Air.
Craig, members of the Harford County Council, and members of the newly established Banking and Finance Commission will be at the announcement.
