it is called parenting….do your job!!!!
Mommie Dearest says
Love this new Dagger Blotter feature! It’s a wonder the deputies are able to keep levelheaded with some of these asinine calls. Gotta love Harford Countians!
Sarah says
Please Keep this blotter going. Glad to see something besides bickering teachers on the front page!
Bill says
Hey CDEV It is called parenting I agree but the B.S. liberals have given the Kids so many rights you cannot punish the little darlings or they call CPS! The previous generations did not have to worry about CPS children were taught to obey or else. Funny we do it in our prisons but not homes? Keep the blotter going!
David A. Porter says
Ill informed and generally ignorant. There are plenty of conservative families that enable their children and fill them with the notion that they don’t have to have regard for the rights of others. Ask the small businessman who lives in Kingsville with a daughter on welfare and in constant trouble with the law and the courts. She just admitted to defrauding the state office of unemployment insurance for $20,000. I’m sure he would like his taxes lower so the rest of us can pay for her support.
Bobbie P says
Why should anyone’s taxes be raised to pay for her fraud? She sounds like a plain ole thief. What does her father being a business man have to do with her stealing money?
Cdev says
If we did not have fraud in alot of government programs from people trying to recieve benefits they do not qualify for we would spend less on them and we would not have to spend as much money on anti fraud methods.
Second the dads politics illustrate the irony of the situation.
This is not the only example. Some of the parents of the kids in the Fallston HS athletics drinking scandle go to our church. They are as conservative as they come but where irrate that the school would kick their kid off of an athletic team for underage drinking. All this despite having signed a piece of paper indicating such a policy.
Point is it is not only limited to “liberals”
My original point was don’t call the police to discipline your child. I have seen multiple calls in the last three blotters from all over the county that indicate similar thinking!
Bobbie P says
Again, what does the fathers politics/being a business man, have to do with the daughter stealing money by defrauding the government? She is a thief, plain and simple. Has nothing to do with the father, unless Porter is implying that the father taught her to steal by fraud!
David A. Porter says
What Bobbie is failing to INFER is that the father raised his daughter not to regard the rights of others or a sense of social responsibility. That the suggestion that only liberals teach their children how to be irresponsible is a gross generalization by someone that just loves to hate anything different from themselves.
David A. Porter says
Possibly because his daughter is an example of how the system he pays tax dollars into is rife with fraud and abuse by people that do not deserve it. Try that out. In between the lines you will read the word “Hypocrite”.
Charlemagne says
Porter, where were you when they were handing out brains? Or spines? Your incessant, ad nauseum drivel vis-a-vis your welfare queen ex-paramour only elicits contempt. Bemoaning your plight time after time will not gain you fame, fortune, or happiness. The best revenge is too live a better life. Again I advise you to unplug, embrace life, and embark on a journey for something noble that will earn you respect, not ridicule. A few suggestions: triathlete, martial artist, pilot, fireman, author, scout leader, PTA president, musician, and so on.
