From Harford County government:
The Harford County Commission for Women is seeking recommendations of outstanding young women from Maryland grades 7-12, for our 2014 Women of Tomorrow Awards. Young women are honored in three different grade groups 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. There will be a first place cash prize winner and an Honorable Mention for each grade group.
The Women of Tomorrow awards honors remarkable young women at a special reception. We invite schools, organizations, and individuals to take the
time to nominate a deserving young woman who has made a difference in the lives of others in their schools and communities.
An independent committee representing a cross section of the county will review the nominations and make the final recommendations.
All nominations must be postmarked by February 26, 2014 and mailed to Harford County Department of Community Services Harford County Commission
of Women, attention Lisa Manfuso – 220 S. Main Street, Bel Air, MD 21014.
