Loading ...I know you’ve all thought to yourselves at one point or another, “who would win in a fight: Geraldo Rivera or a hurricane?” Since Geraldo has a long history of thinking he’s a tough guy when it comes to hurricanes and other severe weather, it’s no surprise he attempted to go toe-to-toe with Hurricane Ike. So, for this edition of Wasting Time we produce the evidence showing ultimately who wins.
There you have it, even though Geraldo sports a pretty tough mustache, he’s no match for the weakest wave from a strong hurricane. Tune in next year when Geraldo looks to redeem himself by taking on an earthquake, live from the fault line.
That is the best, Carlin! I heard about this, but did not catch him falling and was very disappointed.
I love watching reporters, any of them, battle the elements.

Not the first time the phrase “wasting time” has been associated with Gerry Rivers.
My all time favorite storm blooper has to be Mr Al Roker slip-sliding across that hotel balcony. I think it was Isabel or Floyd…
That Al Roker video was probably the best I’ve seen when it comes to someone losing a battle against the elements.
