(Bel Air, MD – January 13, 2009) – – Following the Ravens exhilarating victory over the Titans last weekend, Harford County Executive David R. Craig has announced that Harford County will be cheering on the “purple and black attack” with a large outdoor pep rally. The rally will take place on Friday, January 16, 2009 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm; and will be held in the large county parking lot located at the corner of Main Street and Churchville Road in Bel Air.
Primary sponsors of the event are Merrill Lynch and Garceau Realty, both located in Bel Air. “I want to thank these local businesses for coming forward and offering to fund this rally,” said County Executive Craig. “It just goes to show the dedication of Ravens fans here in Harford County.”
The rally is free and open to the public. All are encouraged to come out in their finest purple attire. Harford County’s very own superfan “The Fan Man” will be on hand to award prizes to the best dressed fan in attendance in both adult and child categories.
The Harford County Rally for the Ravens will feature plenty of music, entertainment and loud cheers as we gather to send the Ravens off to Pittsburgh for the conference championship. Go Ravens!
