The male subject in the included photos is being sought for questioning in connection with a robbery of the Sovereign Bank located in the 1800 block of Emmorton Road, Bel Air, MD.
The subject is approximately 6’00” tall with a medium build and appears to be in his early to mid twenties. He was wearing an Orioles baseball cap, and a red Old Navy hooded sweatshirt with a front zipper. He has a shaved head and “chin strap” facial hair.
The suspect implied he had a weapon and was last seen fleeing the bank on foot. The incident occurred at approximately 3:41 p.m. today, February 20, 2009.

it’s always ‘indicated he had a gun’…what’s gonna happen when just once one of these pricks announces a ‘hold up’ and someone jumps on him and beats the shit out of him..?
well I reckon the ‘good Samaratin’ will be charged with roughing up an un-armed person who just happened to be trying to hold up a bank and scare the hell out of a teller.
I’m fed up with crime that pays…how about some of us making ‘crime not pay’ and launching all hell on criminals.

On second thought, we should realize the majority, of these criminal’s are the victim of poverty. Daddy won’t work & mommy is snorting coke. little or no parent supervision.
The school is left to deal with discipline, problem’s. now if we could just open our hearts. give them free houseing medical food. & a check they don’t have too work for. our bank’s & home’s will be safe from breaking & entering etc.

I think they should let the tellers carry guns. There would be a lot less banks being robbed if a few suspects get shot!

I agree much quicker, & save’s the tax payer lot’s of money’ but it’s so messy…. & crime scene clean up is expensive……

Braveheart- here is the problem with the Sheriff and his view on crime in general which has lead to the proliferation of crime in Harford County and specifically the growth of gangs in Edgewood which is a leading cause in the disinvestment of business in the Edgewood area. Bane gets a pass because his position is that crime and gangs are really just social issues and need to be addressed in the homes and from the pulpit of churches.
I see it as more of a military issue. They have guns, we have guns. They have turf, we have turf. The real difference is that they seem to a better plan.

We need a champion for public safety. Someone who is not afraid to error on the side of a civilian’s right to be secure. Lord knows that the court system is full of campions for the criminals.
it’s not likely, the church’s are going to do any good. as one of the local reverend’s told me. he stopped in at Musical inn to get a sub. and found a marjority of his congregation setting at the bar.
