Del. Nad Yiler passes on the following news from Annapolis:
“Today the Maryland General Assemby passed a bill that went under the radar screen. The bill, HB U812, is modeled after the bill just passed that provides for a partially elected/appointed school board. HB U812 basically increases the size of the Harford County Council by 2. All present county council seats will be elected by the people, the additional 2 seats will be appointed by the county executive”

Those sneaky bastards!
I get it…April Fools! Nice job, Dan Riley! Nice to see you can still have a sense of humor while in Annapolis alongside those who perform as fools each and every day, not just April 1st.
