Heavy Traffic Expected During Darlington Apple Festival

From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:

(Darlington, MD – October 2, 2009) The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public, that due to the Darlington Apple Festival, traffic delays are to be expected on Saturday October 3, 2009 both in and out of the Darlington area specifically, MD Rt. 1 (North & South bound) as well as MD Rt. 161. These delays will begin around 8:00 a.m. and occur until approximately 6:00 p.m on October 3, 2009.

There will be several parking lots located on MD Rt. 1 and MD Rt. 161 for Festival goers to park while attending the event. Shuttle service will be available to the Festival. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is asking motorists, please be patient during this time.
