From Harford County government:
(Bel Air, MD – March 26, 2010) – – In an effort to make it easier for citizens to access county government information and services, Harford County Executive David R.Craig has unveiled a new information hotline. Citizens can now dial 410.638.INFO (410.638.4636) to receive information or relay concerns related to county government.
“This new hotline will serve as the first point of contact for citizens who have questions or concerns about any and all aspects of county government,” stated County Executive Craig. “Whether their issues are large or small, citizens can be assured that they will find the information that they need, or can at least be led in the right direction.”
The creation of the new 410.638.INFO line coincides with County Executive Craig’s visits to libraries around the county for informal discussions with citizens. These visits will take place over the next two months.
“We are always looking for ways to better connect with our citizens and to be more responsive to their concerns,” added County Executive Craig. “This is something that doesn’t cost us a dime to implement because we are reallocating resources already at ourdisposal. I hope that county residents will find this new info line to be a useful resource.”
