Four Harford head coaches will be hosting full- and part-day camps for youths of all ages this summer at the Susquehanna Center and the surrounding athletic fields. A full listing of the camps being offered at Harford as well as information on sign-ups, tuition and fees can be found by clicking on the youth camps link under the Athletics Dept heading on the right-hand side of HarfordAthletics.com as well as the links above. Men’s and women’s tennis head coach George Budelis leads the list of coaches with three part-day camp offerings this summer. Budelis and his staff will host two sessions of the age-specific coed tennis camp with a session for children aged 7-12 from June 28-July 2 and a session for children aged 12-18 from July 12-16.
The younger group will have two hours of instruction from 5:00-7:00 p.m., while the older group will be held from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Budelis will also run two sessions of a six-week junior tennis clinic, the first on Tuesdays from July 20-August 24 and the second on Thursdays from July 22-August 26. Both offerings are from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Finally, Budelis and his staff will offer a high school tennis training camp July 26-30 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Baseball head coach Tom Eller will kick-off the camp season with a full-day baseball camp for boys aged 7-14 from June 21-25. The camp is scheduled from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., but can be extended to include a morning warm-up from 7:30-9:00 a.m. or an afternoon cool down from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Women’s volleyball head coach Jason Colangelo will host a part-day volleyball camp for players entering grades 7-12 from July 19-23, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., while men’s basketball head coach Greg Witkop will round out the offerings for the coming summer with a full-day (9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) basketball camp for boys aged 8-18 from August 9-13 with the option of morning or afternoon extensions.
