From Harford County government:
Approximately 20 real estate agents from the Long & Foster Central Office in Bel Air recently worked to help spruce up the front entrance of the Harford County Council offices on South Bond Street. The project was part of Long & Foster’s Annual Community Service Day.
Working with assistance from Susan McCue, a Harford County Master Gardner and member of the Town of Bel Air Appearance and Beautification Committee, the realtors planted a variety of flowers and other greenery, including black-eyed Susans, variegated hostas, impatiens, Shasta daisies, azaleas, and a crape myrtle tree. The project took the Long & Foster volunteers more than three hours to complete. Tim Myers of Harford County Facilities and Operations helped coordinate the landscaping project for Harford County Government.
“We very much appreciate the time and effort put forth by the realtors of the Long & Foster Central Office in Bel Air. The work they did transformed a rather mundane space in front of the County Council building into a beautiful, well landscaped area for all to enjoy as they pass by,” stated County Executive David R. Craig.
