From Harford Center for the Arts:
The Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that the new Ambassadors Program is up and running and actively seeking speaking engagements. “We have a very enthusiastic group of Ambassadors who are excited about spreading the word about The Center for the Arts and its goal of providing a home to the arts community here in Harford and beyond.” according to Don Thomann, Chief Diplomat of the program. “Up to this point the staff of The Center for the Arts has been laying the foundation by developing Feasibility and Case Studies, and Business and Cultural Plans. Now we’re ready to move forward and get the word out about what a fantastic asset The Center for the Arts will be to the Harford community.”
Ambassadors will help to raise awareness of The Center and its goals by appearing before various civic organizations, business groups, social clubs, and at special events. These guest speakers have been given training in public speaking and are well informed with the detailed information needed to speak about The Center with confidence. The Ambassadors program is a fun and interesting way to learn more about The Center for the Arts and a rewarding way to make an ongoing contribution to the vitality of the arts here in Harford.
