It’s too bad. I was hoping it would have been McGrady and Craig for GOP 34A. They both had a chance to knock off the Dems. Now I’m realistic. I can’t see Glass beat the Dems. McGrady can. I’m still shocked Glenn knocked off Craig. Craig had a record as an elected official he could stand on. As someone who lives in HdG, I know Craig has voted for 5 property tax rate cuts in 3 years. What does Glass stand for? I have no idea except what I read in the Aegis. I mean, did this guy get elected simply because he was waving at cars all day , every day for 4 years?

I stongly agree with another political critic. Glass is a crook. Craig would have made a great state delegate, just as his father was. The Republican Party made a terrible choice in picking Glass over Craig, but Randy can hold his head high, knowing he ran an honest campaign!!
I am shocked! I have looked at the life accomplishments of all three; Craig, Glass, and McGrady. Craig ranks far above both other Canidates. Glass is way at the bottom of the barrel. Have the voters become so lazy that they no longer check out Canidates, and rely solely on name recognition? It is a sad day when the voters pick Glass, with no accomplishments AT ALL, over such a quallified individual.
And I will tell you, I am a DEM, but Craig would have gotten my vote in the General.
Everything the hard core “Tea Party” or conservative Republicans look for in a candidate Randy Craig has actually done on city council. He didn’t campain on lower taxes and less government spending…he’s actually done it during his 3 years on council!!!
I’m just speechless that Glass beat Craig. Randy was conservative but yet moderate enough to win over independent voters and possibly bring along a few DEMS with him. He would have won the general election. With Glass….we have NO CHANCE.
mcgrady will win the second seat! no one in this race ever had a remote chance at knocking off james! craig lost because he jumped into the race in july and never campaigned. he never tried!
Randy Craig is not a conservative and he gave raises to Havre de Grace city employees in a down economy with no inflation. Randy deserved to lose and should leave the council.

Mr. Craig has voted for 5 tax cuts in 3 years. If you would ever pay attention and watch the council meetings on TV then you would know that the city council only approved step increases this year and not COLA…or raises. Plus, he was the councilmember responsible for not raising our water rates this year. I’m a Bulle Rock resident also. Have been for 5 years. I follow the on goings of my city council very closely. They are doing the best they can in this down turn economy. Just because you can’t afford to live in Bulle Rock doesn’t mean that Mr. Craig should have lost the election. Do your homework, know what you are talking about.
