From Harford County Public Schools:
American Education Week is observed annually in the Harford County Public School System as a time to promote an increased public awareness about the schools. The National Education Association’s 89th Annual American Education Week 2010 is November 15-19.
Parents, teachers, administrators, students and the local communities are reminded that all must be closely involved in the public schools if they are to be truly successful. Visiting the public schools will allow you to observe today’s curriculum, current teaching methods, students and teachers at work and materials of instruction. You will also have the opportunity to talk with school administrators about the school program.
The schedule is as follows:
November 15 – Grandparents/Senior Citizens Day & All classes open for visitation
November 16- Grades – Pre-K, K, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, & 12
