From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
At approximately 4:15pm on Friday, April 22, 2011, Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call for service in the Webster Village area of Havre de Grace, MD. Upon arrival, deputies found John Roger Keith Preston, age 53 and Frances Blake Preston, age 50, deceased in their home located in the 100 block of Northway Drive. The deceased couple was originally discovered by adult family members, who immediately initiated a call to 911 to alert local authorities.
Harford County Sheriff’s Office detectives investigating the incident determined that earlier in the day, Preston shot and killed himself in the bedroom of the home after shooting and killing his wife in the living room of their home. The couple did not have children.
This is truly a shame, on Easter weekend no less.
