Announcing his departure from Harford County, Bel Air Tea Party organizer Tony Passaro sent the following email to his supporters on April 19, 2011. A copy was provided to The Dagger for publication:
Well the time for me to say my good byes has arrived.
“R&R” (my sloop rigged C&C 36) is in the water and I and Rocky and Deep (first Mate) make sail for Hampton Roads Virginia on this coming Saturday.
Until I get sorted out, un- packing and etc. I will need about 5 days to get back to my e-mail and catch up………
After Hampton Roads then on to Great Bridge Virginia and then Coin Jock North Carolina and on down the [Intercoastal Waterway] headed for tropical seas where the rum is cheap and the women friendly and the sun shines all day in a cobalt blue sky over a white sand rimmed cobalt sea …….
Though I look forward to this great adventure, I can not but help feeling somewhat melecholy. I shall miss the Town of Bel Air but most of all I shall miss my Tea Party friends with whom I struggled so valiently through so many battles to bring about change for the better in Harford County and the Tea Party Movement….I feel that I leave behind a place that is a littler bertter off than when I came here…and in the very capable hands of some pretty wonderful people….
Becoming a part of the Bel Air Tea Party was for me the crowning achievment…of my life.
I will miss the rallys, the meetings, the protests, the victories..the bus rides….But most of all I shall miss my many friends the smiles, hugs and handshakes every time we met.
The comraderie of soldiers in arms each willingly shouldering their part of the burden, each of us sharing the effort to save this Country, this land of Patriots this County we all so well love this Country we work deligently to protect, this Country we Call AMERICA………..
GOD BLESS AMERICA

That’s the saddest thing I’ve ever read. What a waste of a life he must live.

The sad part is not knowing tony passaro. We need many more Tony’s.. Very active in all aspects of life. Very caring and very outspoken on many issues facing us.. He was always ready willing and able to make his mark on society.

They have a new game on Facebook called Hippieville. You guys ought to try it. You will probably be dominant players.
frankly speaking says
adios, amigo. Virginia is not for lovers anymore.
Dave Yensan says
My god, you two are truly pitiful.
marge says
My God wouldn’t of said that.. Have you taken your meds?
frankly speaking says
“wouldn’t of” If you actually paid attention in school, you “wouldn’t of” said it that…way. Marge, you should join tony down south where your “wouldn’t of” would be right at home.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
frankly speaking says
tony you need to take that Impallaria guy with you also. Wait, don’t you want to be around to whine and moan to the council when they pass the budget?
marge says
yes, tony was their trying to stop the horror of our tax $$ from being thrown down the toilet while you sit on forums and complain about it. He is a doer not a lazy arse.. Look in mirror..
frankly speaking says
marge, if you knew me you wouldn’t of said that.
A Healthy Dose says
The only thing sadder than Tony leaving here is the thought that it could/should have happened 3 years earlier: pre-Tea Party.
HYDESMANN says
Tony, have a great and safe trip but come back. We need people like you.
fogdog says
I cannog find anything you accomplished.
Dulcinea says
Fare thee well, skipper. Your letters to the Aegis will be taught as examples of how not to express your opinions intelligently and succinctly. Even some that agree with your ideas and beliefs were alienated by your unpleasant and inflamatory rhetoric. Your personal sense of style can only be described as challenged. I could not diagree with you more ideologically, but I wish you calm seas and freshening breezes.
Cdev says
Farewell we will now rest easier knowing you will stop plagarizing others work and putting your name on it.
contrarian says
Good Riddance! Harford County is a better place to live with one less nut job residing in the community.
Sharonlyn says
Say what you will about Tony, but he truly cares about people and his country. This country is not the same anymore but it’s good people like Tony who fight to keep it American. He’s a great person who really cares. Good Journey To You Tony! Happy Holidays. I miss your e-mails.
Wayne Norman says
Good luck Tony. When you find that perfect island, with perfect beaches and perfect beverages, give me a call.
