From Harford Campaign for Liberty:
Join us at the Harford Campaign for Liberty meeting on Tuesday, July 26 at 7PM at the Forest Hill Knights of Columbus Hall to discuss the following important issues:
– The Toll hearings in Harford County and Cecil County were well-attended by local folks who want more accountable government. Will the MdTA change the plan as proposed? Or will the Decal be eliminated to pay for the $2.5B InterCounty Connector?
– The Maryland Legislature is meeting for a short special session to vote on the Governor’s Redistricting Proposal and whatever other big government plans they feel like passing. Proposals include a gas tax hike, taxing internet sales, and other “revenue boosters”. Will you join us in Annapolis the week of October 17, 2011 to stop attempts to balance the State budget on the backs of working families in Maryland?
– The Liberty activists who worked hard to collect signatures to get SB167 on the ballot collected a whopping 108,923 signatures! Come to the meeting on Tuesday to find out hear the plan for stopping in-state tuition for illegal immigrants!
– Independence Day in Bel Air featured visitors reenacting the founders’ exercise of free speech at the Liberty Tree and writing the words of the Declaration of Independence with a feather quill. Come and hear an update about this great event, and stop by the Bel Air Library before next WEDNESDAY, JULY 27 to see the display before it is taken down.
Join us on Tuesday, July 26 at 7PM at the Forest Hill Knights of Columbus Hall to congregate for Liberty and work toward a freer, stronger society!
