Klein’s ShopRite
National Recognition and Renovation Projects
First Lady Michelle Obama honored Klein’s ShopRite representatives Andrew P. Klein, President, and Marshall J. Klein, Vice President of Operations, at a White House ceremony on July 20, 2011. The ceremony celebrated nationwide commitments from major food retailers to open grocery stores that provide healthy, affordable food to millions of people who live in areas that do not presently have access to fresh, nutritious food. The new Klein’s ShopRite under development in Howard Park in northwest Baltimore shares the initiative that drew the White House honor.
Klein’s ShopRite also announced last week that they are making improvements to their stores at Main Street, Bel Air and Beards Hill, Aberdeen and that the rest of their locations are scheduled to follow. The recently renovated Festival store includes the “ShopRite From Home” valet shopping feature. Stores will remain open during the renovations.
