From Harford County Government:
(Bel Air, MD) – Private, nonprofit organizations listed under IRS #501(c) (3), interested in providing human services to Harford County residents, are invited to apply for competitive grant funding. The Grant-in-Aid program is available to provide general program operation funding and for demonstration programs. The Department of Community Services focuses on providing funding for programs serving Harford County’s low income population, homeless, the disabled and youth.
Seminars on the Grant-in-Aid funding process for applicants will be held on the following two (2) dates:
– Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Historic Bel Air Colored High School, 205 Hays Street, Bel Air, Maryland, 21014.
– Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Historic Bel Air Colored High School, 205 Hays Street, Bel Air, Maryland, 21014.
Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the workshops, at which applications will be distributed. Otherwise, the application will be available on Friday, October 21, 2011 on the Harford County Government website: www.harfordcountymd.gov.
All selected programs are subject to the availability of funding.
