Glad there are lots of people out there with money to throw away. Maybe MOM and the General Ass embly will use some of the money to reduce our taxes. Ha Ha Ha just kidding.
little ole lady says
Gee, if all that revenue or at least some went to cutting taxes, I would get something free for the very first time. That would be nice.

Brilliant. $10m (rounding up) divided among 5,773,552 (U.S. Census) equals a $1.73 tax break. Don’t spend it all at once, you knob.
You got it says
Hey Watcher,
Why are you giving tax back to people who don’t pay it. Oh thats right, you are part of the Obama, OMalley income redistribution plan. Get a job..
PROUD TO BE LIBERAL says
YOU GOT IT: I guess you are among the 0.3% who got it and don’t want to give it. Part of the Bush, GOP/Tea Party borrow and spend crowd that works for billionaires (remember the 400 families have more wealth than 150,000,000 Americans)?

@PTBL, I won’t bother with attempts to convince you that your purely partisan view of the world is anything but perfect, however, I find it disheartening that the Democratic party has allowed itself to be dragged so far off the track by the radical left that the average independent, and centrist types like myself are left with only the almost equally distasteful Republican party to turn to. The two camps are so diametrically opposed that much of the nation is left needing a third party. Let’s call it the “party of the recklessly sane”.

Proud to be Liberal,
Actually you would probably put me in to that category. Actually I am part of the ‘I have worked very hard for a lot of years to get something and I’m darned if I am going to let you and your cronies take any more of it from me and give it to others’ crowd. It’s a really big crowd and getting bigger every day. See, we are recognizing the hypocrisy of the liberals. They want the needy to get something and they want others to give it.
Also, I already give a lot to others. Tell you what, let’s compare the percentage of our gross income that we give to the needy. In other words, let’s tell all of the folks on this post how generous we are with our own money rather than pretending we care so much about the needy. Go ahead, you first since you are ‘proud to be liberal’. Not the amount but the percentage. Isn’t that what you are mouthing off about?
KEESHA JACKSON says
Now, Alex, you know Proud to be Liberal went to Harco Public Schools so can’t do that advanced math stuff like percentages. That is why Mr. Franchot is trying to get a requirement put in to law re: financial literacy and high school diplomas.
