From Harford County Public Schools:
Students from Harford Technical High School’s Agribusiness/Animal Science program, also part of the Harford Technical’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter, will host the Third Annual Fall Harvest Festival on October 15, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This harvest festival is a wonderful opportunity to bring children and parents of all ages together to be informed in a fun way about how important agriculture still is in our world today. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet new people, learn about agriculture in the modern world and interact in educational and entertaining games and activities. Along with games, there will be a variety of animals. Trained students will also be giving live horse demonstrations. There will also be face painting, pumpkin painting, sand art scarecrow making and a hay maze! Families are encouraged to come out and get in the fall spirit!
