The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in the Wednesday night shooting of a man on Edgewater Drive in Edgewood.
According to HCSO spokeswoman Monica Worrell, the shooting occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. on the 1900 block of Edgewater Drive when Jerron Michael Brown, 28, of that same address, was shot in the torso.
Brown was transported by the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was reported in critical but stable condition mid-day Thursday.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective P. Golden at 410-836-5430 or Detective G. MacGillivary at 410-836-5003. Metro Crime Stoppers and Harford County Crime Stoppers rewards are offered for anonymous tips in the case, Worrell said.

Edgewood, once again.

Its such a shame…. I wonder where the property owner that collects all the federal funds from Edgewater Village lives???? hmmmm…. maybe he could spare some “change” and contribute towards the “clean-up” of the neighborhood. Just wondering!!

when all of the housing project were torn down in Baltimore, that when the trouble came to town.
wondering says
i cant wait until the federal government funds are spread throughout the county and not just Edgewood(thanks Fair Housing Commission…. when everyone makes negative comments they dont realize how it affects honest hardworking people including children. In due time.

Don’t be so disappointed. You have criminals living amongst you already you just are unaware of it. Some of them are cute and pretty and have children and selling their Xanax and trafficking Oxycodone to supplement their state and federal support for food, power and medical care.

David, you seem very quick to criticize those who are not as fortunate as yourself. I doubt hard work got you where you are today, because you seem to have a lot of time to worry about what everyone else is doing. I really wish you could live in the shoes of one of those unfortunate ones for just one day. Then maybe you wouldn’t be so judgemental about those who are not well to do.

We need a government program to teach these people to shoot straight. They always wound each other and end up spending weeks in the hospital at public expense. If they could manage a decent head shot and take each other out cleanly, it would be a great benefit to society.
wondering says
Please dont hold back about how you really feel! “These people”

@Pavel314, Good one. Lesson one: Holding the gun sideways and goin’ all gangsta when ya poppin’ a cap is just not accurate enough. Controlled steady aim always wins the game – we could take them to the carnival and practice with the water pistol race.

WOW, whata surprise! Another shooting less than a mile away from the police precinct. What a total disregard for the law enforcement only a few yards away. If anybody out there thinks the new precinct will help to curb crime in Edgewood then they are totally out of their mind! This type of violent crime occurs within feet of the precinct and they are moving out of town. We don’t need officers out of town patrolling the non-eventful countryside of Harford County, we need them where the crime is! By moving the precinct the law enforcement is basically wasting valuable tax dollars that will provide no remedies but more chaos! The Message here is that the Harford County Sheriff’s Department has basically given up on Edgewood and would rather sit in the woods and talk on their cell phones!

The newspapers listed the names of the victims……just look up their police records……that will tell you the rest of the story. Police records are public information…..no one is discriminating here, just saying look them up. They are already known, even at the “old age” of 21.
