The Aberdeen City Council is expected to vote Monday night on the adoption of the city’s new Public Ethics Ordinance.
Originally introduced in August, the proposed ordinance would delineate provisions and rules for an Ethics Commission; conflicts of interest; lobbying; and financial disclosure for local elected officials, candidates for elected office, municipal employees and appointed officials.

Also on the agenda during Monday night’s session is the introduction and adoption of a resolution for a bond sale; committee appointments; the preliminary site plan for Northgate Business Park, Lot B; and a budget amendment from Aberdeen Police Chief Henry Trabert.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in Aberdeen City Hall.
