From Maryland State Police, Bel Air Barrack:
On Dec. 30 at 7:35 a.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack responded to the 900 block of Pulaski Hwy Joppa, MD to check the well being of a subject who was mowing grass in the area. An employee from Woodlands Camp Resort-Elkton, Maryland was unable to make contact with employee John Salkowski, 59 years old of Cecil County, Maryland.
Upon arrival, Troopers discovered Salkowski’s body partially pinned underneath the left rear tire of a blue Ford tractor. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Criminal Investigators responded to the scene and are conducting a full investigation into the cause of death.
Tragic!
Who mows lawn on Dec.30th anyway??
He was working….you mow when your boss tells you to mow, you are making it seem like he was a nut out mowing grass in December just for fun.
BOB, How callous! May God have mercy on your soul for this insensitive comment. Iwill pray that you find the true meaning of compassion and that others embrace you and heal your wounded heart. Condolences to the family of Mr. Salkowski. May you find solace in memories of better times.
@Bob…..Why would anyone need to pray for your soul? You did say Tragic and asked a question. I feel for the family and wouldn’t want anyone to lose a loved one. I have lost both my parents and know the feeling of losing a loved one. I pray for all the deceased and will pray for Mr Salkowski. BUT why are people so rude to pass judgment on someone for making a comment.
he wasmowing a newly purchased property that the previous owner hadnt mowed. and he was a very nice man he was very loved
