Chrystal Moore Appointed First Harford County Auditor

Chrystal Moore was appointed as the first Harford County Auditor at the Legislative Session on Tuesday, February 7, 2102. Ms. Moore will assume her new responsibilities on March 5, 2012.

Chrystal Moore is an experienced internal and external auditor with a history of adding value to employers and clients. She is a graduate of Towson University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.

Ms. Moore worked as an intern and as an associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. While working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, she specialized in audits of government entities and information technology. Ms. Moore also worked as an Audit Manager for SB&Company, LLC, a public accounting firm based in Maryland, before serving as an Internal Audit Program Supervisor with the Maryland Transportation Authority. She has provided auditing, consulting and risk assessment services to more than thirty government entities.

Through these experiences, Ms. Moore has developed expertise in her field and has obtained several relevant professional certifications. Her credentials include: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Government Auditing Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Government Financial Manager.

Chrystal resides in Abingdon, Maryland.
