Susquehanna Workforce Network Hosts Annual Summer Job Fairs in Harford and Cecil Counties

The Susquehanna Workforce Network, Inc. is preparing to host its annual Summer Job Fairs for youth, ages 16-21 years of age. The Summer Job Fairs provide youth with an opportunity to apply for summer employment with local companies. Each company will decide which youth will be offered employment for the summer.

In preparation for each Job Fair, youth are encouraged to visit the Susquehanna Workforce Network website www.swnetwork.org and review the Job Fair Checklist under the youth tab. This checklist was prepared to assist youth who will be attending a Job Fair for the first time. Many employers will interview youth the day of the fair so it is important to come prepared to discuss your employment goals for the summer.

The time and location for each Fair is listed below:

Cecil County Summer Youth Job Fair
Location: Cecil County Workforce Center, 1275 West Pulaski Highway, Elkton, Maryland
Date & Time: March 10, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.

Harford County Summer Youth Job Fair
Location: Aberdeen Workforce Center, Aberdeen Community Services Building, 34 North Philadelphia Blvd, Aberdeen, Maryland
Date & Time: March 24, 2012, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
