From the office of Congressman Andy Harris:
Rep. Andy Harris released the following statement upon the release of the February unemployment report.
“It is good to see that more hard-working Americans were able to find work last month – especially since President Obama continues to advance policies that make it harder for small businesses and hard-working taxpayers to survive in this fragile economy. What America needs now is for the Administration to focus on real job-creation bills like the Keystone Pipeline instead of more corporate welfare programs like Solyndra.”
“A bipartisan jobs-bill called The JOBS Act passed the House yesterday, which makes it much easier for small and startup employers to create jobs by cutting through the red tape that prevents entrepreneurs from investing in America. The president has said he will sign the House bill—let’s hope the Senate acts as soon as possible.”

Thanks, Andy. TOO MANY PEOPLE no longer being counted, the U-6 people, remember them? Also too many that are underemployed as well.
I am READY for some REAL HOPE & CHANGE come November 2012. We need to change leadership in the White House to restore our small businesses who received no bailouts, unlike Obama’s buddies.
GOOD JOB, Congressman Harris. It’s all about JOBS and the U-6 unemployed!

I am ready for the party of “no” to step aside and let the President implement the plans he has. The old Reagan drug policy, “Just say no” seems to be their solution to every thing.
Mr.E says
What plans? This president has done nothing but spend money. Apparently you missed the last election where people clearly showed they didn’t want this president continuing on the path he is timidly leading us down.
Tom Myers says
Congressman Harris should have focused on job creation on Day 1 instead of focusing on threatening to shut down the government over Planned Parenthood. I look forward to voting for whomever gets to challenge him on November 6!

It is not a very high compliment when the people in your party are only united when they are against something. What good is it to excite your constituents when all you have to say to motivate them is centered on division, derision and outright hate? Or appealing to their sense of patriotism by telling them how good they are at the expense of other people?

Tom – Is there be real Democrat with a spine to stand with the president (as opposed to Kratovil) who is thinking about running against Harris? I’d love to help add my energy to such a campaign but I’m not going to stand for a candidate that won’t fight to keep and improve upon (e.g. allow states to innovate before 2017) the current Health Care Reform act. It’s how Kratovil lost my vote allowing this clown to now collect a pension.

And yes, Andy Harris did vote recently to make sure his pension is sufficiently funded just like he made sure he is getting the best health care insurance coverage from day 1.

If Andy Harris proposed that the weather for tomorrow be sunny and warm then we would have a bunch of you morons crying for freezing rain.
Citizen, the Republican party is not going to step aside and let the President and his cronies drive this country even further down the road to destruction. If you want to refer to them as “the party of no” be my guest. If you don’t like it, tough.

Hey moron,, I mean Andy…. how about working a little harder for peopel who you represent and a lot less on a pipeline that doesnt go thru MD and will not have any efect on us for a min of 10 years.
Time to step up, stop doing the bobblehead aproach to whatever your party is putting out and do some good for all the citizens of MD ,( and yes, there are Democrates, latino’s and gay’s in that group). you were sent there to represent all of us and to work for us. If you can’t do the job ,we can find someone who can.

It would be nice if the Republican party would focus on job-creation bills but instead they spend all their energy to try and dictate what myself and other women should do with our reproductive systems, demonizing populations of Americans they don’t like and proving President Obama is not from this planet.
