(Bel Air, MD) – Jennifer Davis, an Administrative Secretary III with the Department of Community Services has been chosen as Employee of the Month for March 2012. Mrs. Davis has worked for Harford County government for seven years, two years with the Department of Inspections, Licenses and Permits and the past five years with the Department of Community Services.
Mrs. Davis was nominated by Susan Fisher, Mediation Coordinator with the Department of Community Services. Mrs. Fisher’s nomination cited Mrs. Davis ability to manage multiple tasks and helps the Department of Community Services in numerous selfless ways.
Mrs. Fisher nomination stated, “Jen always steps up to any task thrown her way and continually shifts her day to help others in the department when needed”. The nomination continues, “Recently, she helped guide all of the Community Services staff through the difficult time of answering hundreds of calls in Rumor Control at the Division of Emergency Operations. As our Department’s needs continue to shift and evolve, Jen has always smiled and said, “I can help you with that” or “What do you need, let’s get it done,” Mrs. Fisher stated.
In accepting the award from County Executive David R. Craig, Mrs. Davis stated, “I was honored to be nominated as Employee of the Month by my colleague Sue Fisher. However, the entire staff of the Department of Community Services works hard every day in serving the citizens of Harford County. I share this award with all of them”.
Commenting on Mrs. Davis’s selection as Employee of the Month for March, County Executive Craig remarked, “Jennifer does an outstanding job for the Department of Community Services and the taxpayers we serve. Jennifer’s attitude, dedication and hard work should serve as an example to others. I congratulate Jennifer and the entire Community Services team for their exemplary service to the citizens of Harford County,” County Executive remarked.
