Abingdon Social Security Office to Close For Two Weeks

From the U.S. Social Security Administration:

The Abingdon Social Security office located at 3435A Box Hill Corporate Center Drive will be closed for two weeks beginning Monday, April 30 due to renovations. The office will reopen on Monday, May 14.

“We are contacting everyone who had an appointment to visit the office during the time we will be closed,” explained Nicole De Campli, district manager. “Those appointments are being rescheduled. However, telephone appointments will not be affected.”

Residents living in the Abingdon service area (zip codes 21001, 21005, 21009, 21010, 21014, 21015, 21017, 21018, 21028, 21034, 21040, 21047, 21050, 21078, 21084, 21084, 21085, 21130, 21132, 21154 and 21160) may conduct business at any Social Security office. Offices closest to Abingdon are located at:

Office hours at both locations are 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except federal holidays.
