From the Harford Writers’ Group:
The Harford Writers’ Group (HWG) has published a second volume of writings from its local members, entitled “Voices from the Susquehanna – Volume II” (ISBN 9780977350940). This latest anthology is over 260 pages long and incorporates poetry, prose, and photography.
“Voices from the Susquehanna – Volume II” is available for sale at Amazon.com, Greetings and Readings Hunt Valley, and other channels.
This is the group’s second foray into publishing. Its first anthology, “Voices from the Susquehanna: Harford County’s Newest Writers”, was completed in 2005.
Over the course of 10 years, the HWG has grown to more than 30 members, many of whom have gone on to publish their own individual books. The group is open to new members, and meets on the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30 -8:30 PM at Tudor Hall (Center for the Arts), Bel Air, MD.

Do you have to bring samples of your writing to the meetings?

hi Lisa…. you can just come to the meetings, get used to the format, and if you want to bring something you’ve written that’s fine…the members are varied in their talents and interests…surely your work would be welcome, but not required for the first meeting.
