From Harford County Public Schools:
Ms. Beverly Hagner, food service manager at Magnolia Middle School, was recently honored as the state winner of the School Nutrition Association’s 2012 Louise Sublette Award of Excellence.
Each year, the School Nutrition Association honors school nutrition professionals with the Louise Sublette award, which is considered the highest honor a school nutrition manager can earn. The award is given to individuals who have developed goals for their school’s nutrition program and worked to help the program to grow.
Ms. Hagner was considered for this award because of her positive attitude towards the staff and students of Magnolia Middle School. She has done an outstanding job creating interest in the nutrition program, building sales and improving employee morale. Also, she is an active member of her local Harford County School Nutrition Association (HCSNA) chapter.
For winning this award, Ms. Hagner will receive a personalized plaque. Ms. Hagner has been invited to attend the Maryland School Nutrition Association’s annual convention the first weekend of October in Ocean City, Maryland. She was also recognized at the National Convention in Denver, Colorado, as the winner for Maryland.
Congratulations, Ms. Hagner!
