(Aberdeen, MD – August 21, 2012) On Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at approximately 7:45pm, Harford County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence in the 900 block of North Stepney Rd. in Aberdeen for a report of an individual there having been struck with a baseball bat.
Upon their arrival, deputies found the victim, Dion Lee Kuhn, lying in the yard near the residence. Mr. Kuhn, who lives at the residence, was bleeding from the head. Mr. Kuhn said he was attacked and struck in the head with a baseball bat. Mr. Kahn was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he was treated and released.
Criminal Investigators determined that two subjects, Michael Hawley of the 200 block of Golf Dr. in Aberdeen and Keven Sparks of the 1700 block of Cedar Crest Ct. in Edgewood were responsible for the attack on Mr. Kuhn. Both individuals have been charged with first degree assault in connection with the attack. Arrest warrants are outstanding on both individuals related to the charges.
