From Harford County government:
The 47th annual Bel Air Festival for the Arts will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. behind the Bel Air Town Hall on Hickory Avenue.
This year’s festival will feature 350 artists, photographers and craftsmen from Maryland and nine other states. The work of fiber artist, Donna Clauer Stufft, is featured on this year’s tee-shirt and promotional materials. Festival shirts can be purchased at the Information Booth. The artist will be available to sign shirts at her booth where more of her work will be displayed.
Continuous entertainment on the band shell stage will feature cloggers, the community band, Sweet Adelines and more. There will also be roving entertainers through the crowds as well as craft activities for children. Additionally, radio personality Diane Lyn will be on hand from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. to meet festival-goers. Bel Air’s own Miss Teen Maryland, Stephanie Chervenkov will be on-hand to sign autographs.
A wide array of great festival foods will be available, including crab cakes and pit beef. The festival is Bel Air Parks and Rec’s largest fundraiser. Monies for various youth and adult programs are raised through the profit made from food concessions.

Parking will also be available all day at the Bel Air Parking Garage on Hickory Avenue, for a $2 donation to the Police Auxilliary.
