Three suspects are sought in an armed home invasion, assault and robbery which occured in Aberdeen Sunday night.
According to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, the trio, described as three black men wearing all black and with black bandannas covering their faces, forced their way into the home of William H. Burkheimer III, 23, on the 1300 block of Loflin Road in Aberdeen shortly after 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Inside, police said Burkheimer was watching football with two friends. The suspects ordered his two friends to lie on the floor, stealing a wallet from one and iPhones from both. Burkheimer was taken to another room, where the suspects assaulted him and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the home. According to police, the victims said all three men were armed with pistols and threatened to shoot them.
Burkheimer was found by his friends and later transported to Harford Memorial Hospital, where he refused treatment and left the hospital before deputies arrived to interview him, police said. A search of the area for the three suspects was unsuccessful.
